Prospective and current mortgage clients of The McKnight Team, the Austin McKnight branch team of Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI), who want informational text messages about their own inquiry, pre-qualification, or loan application.
Where opt-in happens
On our contact form, where the user provides their name, contact details, and phone number.
How consent is collected
Below the phone number field, the form presents two separate consent controls. Text messaging consent is its own dedicated, unchecked-by-default checkbox that covers only informational text messages. Its disclosure states that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, the user can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, consent is optional and not a condition of any service, and mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing. Consent is recorded with a timestamp on the customer's record in our CRM.
